Titlebar on app

I'm trying to create a simple app that displays a web page in webworks.

It works fine in Ripple but not in simulator. There is a title bar with a close button.

How can I hide this title bar? Also splash screen does not appear at start.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<widget xmlns="http://www.w3.org/ns/widgets"
    xmlns:rim="http://www.blackberry.com/ns/widgets"
    rim:header="RIM-Widget:rim/widget"
    version="1.0.0.0" id="test">

    <name>test</name>
    <author>author</author>
    <description>test</description>
    <icon src="images/icon.png"/>
    <content src="http://m.mobilesite.com"/>
	<rim:loadingScreen backgroundColor="#000000" backgroundImage="images/splash.jpg" onFirstLaunch="true" onRemotePageLaunch="false">
    	<rim:transitionEffect type="fadeIn" direction="left"/>
	</rim:loadingScreen>
</widget>

Re: Titlebar on app

To display a splash screen, add this line to config.xml:
<rim:splash src="<Name of splash image>"/>\

I'm not sure what to do about hiding the title bar.

Re: Titlebar on app

By default, there is no content that gets added to an application. You'll need to remove the DOM elements for the title bar from the source manually. If you're not sure where in the source the title bar exists, you could build a debug version and use Web Inspector to investigate the source directly.

Removing tag <titlebar> resolved the issue.
