Trackball Navigation

I am enabling trackball navigation on my widget page elements. Does Widget API provides default highlight of html elements or I have to define onmouseover event for all the elements? Is there any workaround possible?

Thanks.

Re: Trackball Navigation

This problem got resolved by <meta name="x-blackberry-defaultHoverEffect" content="true" /> but now I have a new bug.

I have two image buttons in a tr as

<td >
          <img alt="" src="./images/normal.jpg" onclick="something()" x-blackberry-focusable="true"/></td>
 <td >
          <img alt="" src="./images/off.gif"  x-blackberry-focusable="true" />

</td>

Now trackball is focusing first button not another one. Does trackball navigation highlight one element in a row??

Please help.

Re: Trackball Navigation

<td class="classname">
          <a href="#" onclick="something()" ><img alt="" src="./images/normal.jpg" x-blackberry-focusable="true"/></a></td>
 <td class="classname>
          <img alt="" src="./images/off.gif"  x-blackberry-focusable="true" />

</td>

use css to set the hover

.classname {

   /* your style*/

}

.classname:hover {

   /* your style*/

  background-color:blue;

}

something like that

Re: Trackball Navigation

If your items are in a horizontal row, moving to the next item in the row will be accomplished by scrolling sideways and not up and down.

Is this what you are experiencing?

You can also control the focus order by overriding the up/down scroll to move sideways if you like.
