Web App in a an App

Hi all,

wondered if anyone could help.

I have an app on App world which I made in HTML and used webworks to convert to .COD and Sign and put on the store.  All this is OK, but some phones it works on, others it doesn't and it is just irritating me (and my users). All works perfectly on IOS and Android.

My thinking is then, could I just put something on App world that people can download but it just directs to a full screen version of a mobile website (http://webapp.conyersbite.co.uk)

I know I could just make a webapp, but I like the idea of users being able to get it from where they are used to getting apps from (the App World).

I started thinking about iFrames etc but not sure where to go and wondered if there was an easy way to this.

It would make updating the site much easier as I wouldn't need to keep re-packaging etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Web App in a an App

You can make a web starter app, i.e. just an icon, which users click and get on your site. It is trivial to do it with WebWorks, for example check this article:

It is for PlayBook, but the the same is valid for smartphones
