Web Inspector with BES

The instructions to debug a smartphone using Web Inpector specify to debug over wifi.

I don't have access to wifi. Is there another way to debug on the device? It is currently connected to a BES.

Thanks!

Re: Web Inspector with BES

Hi there,

You must be connected to WiFi as the smartphone does not have an IP address when connected to a carrier network only. Testing directly from my device browser, enabling web inspector via the Menu > Developer Tools > Enable Web Inspector, it appears that it is silently failing, which would be an expected behaviour, again because the device does not have an IP to broadcast on.
