To create a new BlackBerry WebWorks project using the BlackBerry WebWorks SDK:

  1. On the Start menu, click BlackBerry WebWorks 2.0.0.54. A new browser window opens, displaying the BlackBerry WebWorks SDK tool.
  2. Click [+] beside the Projects heading the the navigation panel.
  3. Enter your application's name in the Project Name field.
  4. Enter your desired project path in the Project Path field.
  5. Click Save

Point 1: Does not work on a german PC - nothing available at Start Menu/Programs/

That means: Forget point 2 to 5 also... :smileysad:

How to start it directly from path? http://localhost:  port?

Why are there so many changes? Why is it not possible to use Ripple Chrome extension anymore? Why do I have to use a VMware or a device, which I do not like and do not wanna do.

Why shall I use a BB ID token now? I was happy with the barsigning. These changes f*** me up late after midnight.

Never change a running system. Nothing works right out of the box.

usr501 - You should find blackberry-signer.bat here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\BlackBerry\BB10 WebWorks SDK 2.0.0.54\cordova-blackberry\bin\dependencies\bb-tools\bin

Re: WebWorks 2.0 Beta is Now Available

BallRock - which version of Windows are you running? There should definitely be a shortcut added by the installer.

It calls a script in your installation directory at webworks-ui\bin\start-ui.bat

There is also a command line tool "webworks" added to your system path. You can use this to create a new project as well:

webworks create <path> [<app-id>] [<app-name>]

The "webworks serve"  command lets you work on the app locally before testing on a simulator or device.

BBID tokens are not required. If your system has the legacy signing keys installed, you will still be able to create debug tokens and sign applications. Its suggested you link your existing keys with BBID to take advantage of the benefits.

Re: WebWorks 2.0 Beta is Now Available

the same issue on Vista and Win7

See screenshots

Start Menu

Start Menu 2

Installation path

As you can see there is no short cut. The installer shows me the path to Start Menu during installation, but there is nothing. I reinstalled it 3 times, but hey, nothing changed.

thx for reply to signing keys. that makes me a little bit more happy :smileyhappy:

I'll try to start ui.bat
