Re: Weblauncher Unable to open links when packaged with latest SDK

should have been more clear I meant try

<access uri="http://fbcdn.net" subdomains="true"/>
in addition to
<access uri="*" />

so it should look like

<access uri="*" />
<access uri="http://fbcdn.net" subdomains="true"/>

Re: Weblauncher Unable to open links when packaged with latest SDK

OK now that I added the Facebook URL it moved on to Google Plus. I'm guessing after I add that one, it will give a pop up for Twitter.

Seems weird that these things are a issue now but wasn't before. Thanks for all the help

Re: Weblauncher Unable to open links when packaged with latest SDK

I will explain.

On tablet OS access uri="*" allows navigation plus disables crossSiteXHR

On BB10 WebWorks access uri="*" allows only navigation.

Somewhere I assume your code is trying to make crossSiteXHR for those CDNs.

The added security allows webworks to enable web security again for BB10 added enhanced security to WebWorks apps.

Sorry this bothered you but a little bit pain for significant added security is a fair trade off.

Re: Weblauncher Unable to open links when packaged with latest SDK

I had the same problem as you but with a twist.

I'm sending an unsigned app to Dev Alpha via command line.

Using    <access uri="http://....com/join.php..." subdomains="true" />

one server call worked fine but a similar call with different parameters failed, yet worked OK via browser on a laptop or PlayBook.

Here's how I fixed it, just now ---

I included "join.php" in the config.zip file.  I don't think that's in the 'help' notes?

Very strange.

The first server call (adding a username) always works but the second call (adding or updating an email address) never worked even if it was the ***only*** call.

Re: Weblauncher Unable to open links when packaged with latest SDK

Hmm...  maybe I was just lucky.  It seems to be an intermittent error, for me.

The BB10 browser version works fine.

Refreshing the app or rebooting or checking wi-fi doesn't seem to help.
