Web and WebWorks Development

Hi there

I'm a web/flash designer and put together a very simple site for a client that is to be viewable on BB. The site uses jpgs, html and basic CSS. 

The site looks fine in a browser and iPhone but on Blackberry the images look extremely compressed, lossy and artifacted. also, on the BB curve, after scrolling, the buttons don't link to the proper pages (i used an image map). 

I was wondering if there were any obvious reasons this might be happening and if anyone had any advice in general. The site goes live Thursday night!

Can you post up the BlackBerry OS versions that you are seeing the problem on?

sure - 

Blackberry 8320

V 4.5.0.81 (platform 2.7.0.78)

I am using one site for both mobile and full browser, so the graphics are scaling down for the mobile version. That said, they're jpgs and would normally scale nicely. Since there are so many different BB's I wasnt sure if there was a standard width I should design for.
