Webworks 10 -- Launch Variables

Is there a global BB 10 Webworks variable that differntiates between when a user or an onInvoke (push notification) launches the app?

The issue is that I want to exit the app when a push notification is  received and processed.

I don't want to exit the app when a user launches it and a push notification is received.

I think a single variable availble in the bb platform would do it, but am not sure, i haven't found anything concrete in the documentation.

Thanks

Re: Webworks 10 -- Launch Variables

what you're looking for is a variable that stores the status of your application, or do the action of removing the application when something happens

Re: Webworks 10 -- Launch Variables

Hi pzill4,

When invoked using a push notification, the blackberry.invoked method gets triggered, so you can exit there:

blackberry.event.addEventListener("invoked", onInvoked);

Check the example at: https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/apis/blackberry.invoked.html#.event:invoked
