Re: Where to write sencha code ?

Sencha has their own product(s) available on their website http://www.sencha.com/products/complete/

Alternately you could use anything you wanted to write the code in, notepad even.

There's a large thread already started that discusses the different IDE's out there for writing code http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Web-and-WebWorks-Development/Which-is-best-editor-for-Web-bas...

Re: Where to write sencha code ?

Do some research before you go sencha.  It's not 100% blackberry friendly.  You really should go jQueryMobile if you want to simplify UI design.  It also works across multiple platforms as you seem to want.

Alternatively you could build something from scratch using phonegap and jquery.

Sencha have an IDE called architect which is your best way to do an app fast BUT it has a mean learning curve when you start up - as in your case.  If you're already familiar with sencha then the app is brilliant.

If it helped you, click like. :smileyhappy:
