I'm trying to compile a webworks app for the first time and running into what I think should be a common problem. I was surprised to not get any hits searching for the filename.
My webworks app is using Jquery Mobile with just the default theme. While debugging, I saw it was flagging errors about some files that are part of the default theme, so I added them. Now one of these files is causing a problem, i think.
C:\Documents and Settings\Bill>java -jar "c:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks Packager\bin"\bbwp.jar c:\Projects\myapp.zip
[INFO] Parsing command line options
[INFO] Parsing bbwp.properties
[INFO] Validating application archive
[ERROR] Invalid application archive - resource name is not valid(css/images/ajax-loader.png)
I think that ajax-loader.png is not allowed because of the '-' character in the name. I might be able to change the name and alter the .JS file accordingly, but I'd really rather not. Anyone have any other suggestions?

I checked my app I built and it contains "ajax-loader.png" which built fine,
so it seems that the issues wasn't "fixed" by renaming the file, but possibly by Webworks SDK.
I recall there being problems with the "-" (dash) in one of the older WebWorks SDKs.
Which version of the Webworks SDK are you using ?
Have you tried the latest (2.1 as far as I recall)

Make sure you have the latest WebWorks SDK... This was an old issue that has since been fixed
