Re: bbUI.js overhaul

Not sure exactly what may be going wrong for you.. I'm viewing the samples in Ripple right now.

Are you tring to open up the samples from a file:// URL or hosting them on a web server?

Re: bbUI.js overhaul

Hey Tim,

Thanks for the quick reply. I've got them on my local machine's web server (e.g. http://localhost/bbuisample/). I just noticed it's showing bbuisamples as having a current version of 0.9.1.1 in Ripple... I have the latest JS file but the config is showing the same. Where can I download the most up to date version of the samples package?

Re: bbUI.js overhaul

Yep, that's where I got them, everything is the same. Weird, I'm going to have to start poking around in my configs everywhere. Thought this was a limitation of the emulator or SDK, didn't realize this was just happening to me. I'm well behind on my development!

Re: bbUI.js overhaul

My guess is that you are at the mercy of some crazy Google Chome caching :smileyhappy:

I always setup my local webserver to pass no-cache headers from the server so that all content expires immediately.

I would suggest clearing the cache of Chrome and then trying to load the sample.

Re: bbUI.js overhaul

Nah, I'm at the mercy of my usual luck with these kinds of things :smileyhappy:

Going to give it all a fresh install and start from scratch, maybe I did something wrong at some point. Will report back again in a couple weeks after my wedding and honeymoon, this is not a priority anymore :smileytongue:

Re: bbUI.js overhaul

Are you planning on implementing dark themes for BB5/6/7 like you have for BB10 in a future delivery?

There are no plans to create a dark theme for controls in BB5/6/7.. bbUI follows the standard look and feel of the BlackBerry UX, so it will be sticking with the standard control colorization.
