Hi all,

I am trying to configure my 8800 simulator to enable internet connectivity.
I have downloaded n installed the BB MDS,however it did not help me it still says unable to connect to Mobile data service.

But i have configured BB 9000 Vodaphone simulator and I can access internet on it. Then why is the issue with 8800 ?

Please help me with one.

Did you start MDS before you started the simulator?

Yes.I have startted MDS before. I am following the same procedure by which I able to connect BB 9000 device. but no luck with BB 8800

Is the radio turned on in the simulator?

Hi,

I did not find Radio in the BB 8800(East Asia Simulator).

And what is the relation between radio and Internet

The simulator talks to the network through the wireless radio and MDS. If the radio is turned off (it's on by default), no internet connection.  Just like a regular device.
