Hi all -
I have a WebWorks app with a config file (for testing purposes) like this -
And yet I cannot get my Bold 9780 to recognise when the contents of the website have changed. It just comes up with the same page every time. I've even deleted and reinstalled the app - I still get the same cached contents!
The only way I can get it to refresh is by changing the config to
and recompiling and loading it using javaloader.
What am I doing wrong?

I was told that the WebWorks cache framework is very "aggressive". I think this infers that the expiry time for cached content is long. Did you add the "rim:cache" element after having already created / installed your app? If so that may be why you are seeing it take a while to take effect.
The source code is part of your install and is also available online. There may be something in here that explains :

Thanks for your reply. No, I've been developing the app with the content on a remote server for the last few weeks and the refresh has been immediate every time. This problem has only started recently ... very odd.
Since posting this I've changed it to get the content from the SD card instead of from a remote server and that works perfectly - changes are reflected as soon as the app is restarted. Very odd.
The SD card workaround is good enough for me not to want to read through all that java code in your link - my head hurts just at the thought of it - but thanks for the idea!
