No in the case of facebook, They use a browserfield object for the FB login/logout.
Something like this
loginScreen = new LoginScreen(fb);
The this is I don't think you can port a whole BB Java project in. Your extension must be a simple java project, and you only have to export the src packages to your WebWorks project

I have followed the example of WebWork PhoneGap to create a BlackBerry. (Shows the battery level of mobile).
Well, I have done this example and I read agani the mr_dj07's instructions
I will try to explain the steps that I belive to be performed.
1 º. Download SDK for BlackBerry Facebook.
What version?. I'm using this:
mr_dj07, do you recommend using 0.3.5?
Where I can download it?
2 º. Create a Java project that is able to authenticate on Facebook.
I created a class that directly, when executed, requests the page
(Let no one forget to import the library of BB to Facebook, downloaded in the previous step)
3 º. From Java to build an extension project for WebWork.
4 º. Try the WebWork project.
* Fault: login website Facebook is not shown
3 º B. Using the Java class, but this time extending PhoneGap.
Create the method "execute" in a Java class (See examples of PhoneGap)
This method create a Facebook object, check the permissions, and finally try to get the UserName.
(all into execute method that phonegap plugin manager will manage, right? ).
- Is it possible to test java project using PhoneGap?
(NOW I am in this step, writing the code of this class descrive above.)
** I have a problem, two JSONArray.java class, and Into Into org.json.me com.blackberry.util.json
I delete the java class from com.blackberry.util.json and I fix the references in Others class.
"I'm on the right way?
Thank you very much, kind regards.

I don't think is a good idea use a SDK file with the autentification method, because Facebook change a lot, and if they change the method tomorrow, and they will, your app is gone a crash.
Somebody who can use the facebook mobile web connect? Anyone????

You are reight adrianes, but the method describe above is the only way to connecto to facebook with webworks
The facebook tags doesn´t work in a webwork. (Try it, it´s easy).
Thanks, kind regards.

I haven't had time to play with this yet, but check out FB's oAuth doc.
The tricky part is getting FB to call back your app...
