iframe loading is slow in BB10 application

Hello ,

 

I am trying to loading an iframe, when network is little bad then it shows a black screen before loading and then shows the actual iframe loaded , how to avoid this situation?

the iframes are loaded perfectly fine on ios and andriod as my application is a cross platform application built with HTML5 and jQuery.

check the css, different browser have different default settings, change the iframe-s background-color to whatever you want, maybe it helps, but if not try webkit specific css settings.

Connect remote web inspector on BlackBerry 10 and look in the network panel.  It will show you exactly what the performance issues are with the remote content you are loading.

Sheesh...

 

Start off with a Loading... screen

 

e.g.

 

<div 'id'='loading'>

  Loading...

</div>

 

BEFORE you load switch to loading and let the DOM complete

 

Load

 

Display complete - switch to the display div
