is there some bigger webworks app for blackberry playbook with images and pages with transition effects with more then 2 pages (main page and info
. My experience is that HTML5/JS is good and fast for writing simple phone apps with small number of images and only lists of informations. In playbook are visible performance problems like in browsers ... desynchronization js effects and skip effect and jump elements to new position, a transparent checkerboard when browser not manage to draw as fast i need.

@polovi - You are right about all those issues. 3D transitions seem to have problems at the beginning and the end and when it's more serious, checkerboard shows up.
@zahirw - We released Tweet-Search for the PlayBook a year ago. We have a more advanced version (pictures, previews, map, share, etc.) in our labs, but waited to see if OS 2.0 would allow us to implement everything that we wanted since too many things were broken with 1.0. Transitions become unbearably slow when there are too many elements on screen, but we're in the middle of a rewrite, so maybe some code optimization will help...
