problem when reading http link in rss

[ Edited ]

I am trying to use Blackberry Widget plugin in Eclipse.

I meet the problem when I read a rss file, there is a http link in the rss. I try to read it out and javascript:alert( ) it out. But it only show up a empty "i" icon. I have check the source rss and the link is already exist. I don't know why I cannot print it out or use it as hyper link after I edit the config.xml with adding .

And more, my current simulator is 9550 in the Eclipse (that is default one). How can I change my simulator to 9800 6.0.0.337? I have download and install the simulator. But I cannot find any option in the properties of the Eclipse.

Re: problem when reading http link in rss

OK I have find a temper solution.

After I use AJAX to get the response code, I use javascript&colon;replace( ) to find out all <link> and replace them into <http>, then use jquery to search <http>. The link has show up and display well.

That means the simulator or jquery itself cannot find the <link>.
