"app displays blank white screen" rejection from app world

My app was rejected from the app world with this reason:

"app displays blank white screen (does not appear to be loading correctly) "

It consists of some javascript using the box2dweb javascript library. It works fine in the Ripple Emulator. I don't have a Playbook tablet, so I can't test it on a real device.

How can I go about tracking down this problem?

Have you tried it on a simulator? http://us.blackberry.com/developers/resources/simulators.jsp

I would also recommend the simulator to get a much closer example of it running. You can deploy the application to the simulator and even use WebInspector to debug it. Ripple is more for early design work really, rather than final release debugging.

Thanks, that helped. I got a white screen on the emulator, so now I can debug. I wasn't aware that it existed.

In fact the problem was invalid HTML which Ripple tolerated, but the simulator didn't.
