how can I send html on the body of an email sent from a widget??

Unfortunately it is not yet possible to send HTML in the body of an email from a Widget.

Hi gazier20,

Unfortunately it still is not available.  We are however making our first steps to provide this functionality.

Today, all of the WebWorks/Widget Email, PIM and other APIs are part of the BlackBerry OS.  This means that in order to augment one of these existing APIs we would need to wait for a new OS version.

However, we are in the process of bringing up all of those APIs off of the operating system and putting them in our WebWorks open source project.  This will give us and the community the freedom to augment these APIs going forward without the restriction of waiting for a new BlackBerry OS version.

This will be a major step forward to provide the flexibility that we need to upgrade existing functionality such as adding HTML email support.

And by the way, once we take these Web APIs off the device we will be contributing them back to our WebWorks open source project on http://github.com/blackberry so developers in the community can contribute back ideas and code to the project.  Then you won't have to wait for us
