Re: xmlhttprequest getting status 0 in Ripple, status 500 in Simulator

[ Edited ]

Reumerd: I double checked the line and it was good.  I assume I couldn't hit google otherwise anyway.  I was also testing with just Wifi enabled (no mobile network, no bluetooth even).

However, I did (using my device) go through my external IP instead of direct to the internal IP and it worked!  Even after turning all wireless back on, it worked.  Internal IP still gave a 504 though.  And simulator still timed out with either the internal or external IP, but google worked fine.  Internal and External IP worked fine in the simulator browser though.

I assumed that a webworks app would use the same network transport as the browser (which CAN see the internal IP) but apparently that is not the case.   At least now I know. :smileyhappy:

Thanks everyone for the help.
