First BlackBerry

Hello to all. I purchased my first BlackBerry from at&t a few months ago. I bought a Curve 8310 (the grey one) and so far I like having it very much. It has saved me many times already. Given me directions to somewhere I have never been to or given me the number and address to somewhere on the spot. I will never have a normal "cell phone" again.

I do have one question, How do you dial letters such as 1 800 GO FED EX or 1 800 HOMEDEPOT numbers like that? I have not figured it out yet. Is there a way?
