Hello everybody in this developer community.
I just bought a Playbook and i'm now anxious to start developing my own apps for it.
If BlackBerry survives the current storms, I'm sure (...i think !
) i'll get crazy rich selling apps for the Playbook, with a little help from all of you, of course.
I'm counting on you, just as you can count on me, as soon as i can figure out where the Native SDK is kept hidden.

Thanks for the link, Wolf359.
That's sort of the obvious place where to start, isn't it ? The main door, so to speak.
The problem is, if you follow the links from that point on, you eventually get nowhere, because on the download page where you're directed for the SDK, there is no active link at all.
Thanks for the interest, just the same.

Your information panned out anyway.
I returned to the page you pointed me to (i had beeen there a dozen times before), and this time found working links.
I guess i HAD to register to access active links.

Many thanks IrwinII. Never too many tips and tricks, especially when starting with new hardware.
And while i have your attention, let me ask you...
(1) Do you have a link to an area where one might be allowed to input his two cents into the development of the new version of the Tablet OS ? I know it's very late in the game, but someone might still be listening...
(2) Same question, but relative to the internationalization of that OS. (if different from the above)
Thank you.
