Hi from the Pacific Northwest

Hi,

I recently purchased my BlackBerry Storm a few weeks ago and left for a vacation soon afterwards.  It's been a lot of fun trying to keep up with this new technology but also a headache too.  I've got a lot to learn especially since I don't consider myself to be up on all this new high tech stuff.  I'm hoping that I can use this thing to it's full potential.  I know I really need to go to a class to get "hands on" training.  It's easier for me to see and do than it is to look through a manual.

Does anyone know about an icon that looks like 3 people together with a little red asterick above?  It located right underneath date and time on my home screen.  There's also a numeral "1" to the left of the little people.  Does this refer to an appt or something?  I'm not finding any explanation of this icon in my BlackBerry Storm manual.

Thanks in advance for any advice...

:smileyhappy:

Re: Hi from the Pacific Northwest

That could be an MSN Messenger notification? Do you have that application loaded?

Re: Hi from the Pacific Northwest

Wow... Thanks to everyone who has replied about my weird icon I didn't know about and also thanks for the warm welcome! You've all been very helpful...
It WAS an icon from MySpace indicating I had a message. LOL. :smileyvery-happy: I've got a lot to learn obviously.

Thanks everyone,
Brenda
