Hi!
I just wanted to drop by and introduce myself. My name is Kennedy and I work for a small, proprietary software company. We're currently developing our first Blackberry application and I'm mostly in charge of directing the programmer on what I want it to do and then testing once the first install package is ready.
What I am wondering is whether I can purchase an inactive Blackberry directly (without a service package) for testing purposes? Our application is being designed to sync directly with the user's computer and their program database so does not need a cellular or internet connection for transfer of data.
Can someone please let me know!
Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the forums! ![]()
I would suppose you could just buy a phone with no cell phone and/or data package.
Happy to have you here! ![]()
