Hi, Irwinll -

Thanks for your response.  I think there is so much here that I just haven't browsed enough yet.  Time is tight for me at work and home right now, so I haven't had much time to explore in depth.  I plan to take a class on Blackberry Basics that my phone/internet service provider offers at a nearby mall, and that may answer some of my questions.  I will explore the areas of this site that you suggested, and  work up a list of questions to check out on BB answers.  I'm excited about the phone and about this forum.  I appreciate your help!

Hi Caterry and welcome to the forums!

I think you may have stated the reason you are not finding the info you need.

You are trying to learn everything all at once!!! I think it's may be best to follow and learn one

concept or function at a time. I speak from experience as I was impatient as well when I started! :smileywink:

Irwinll and Cathlab are two of the best users here so you are in very good hands.

Two things I would like to know that may help you:

What is your best learning environment?  Audio, visual, documentation class room or a real life problem?

Also do you have an author that you follow that "speaks to you"? Someone that phrases things so that they are

very clear to you? If you have great, if not I can introduce you to several knowledeable posters with different

styles, maybe we can find one you can follow.

I got my first Blackberry and my first forum experience together as well so I was pretty overwhelmed

(I also got my first set of bifocals the same week as my Blackberry Curve) what a triple blessing! :smileyvery-happy:

It gets easier I promise! Kudos's to you (for finding this thread repeatedly) :smileywink:

Thanks,

Re: Navigating the forums

Hey, IrwinII-

Everyone has been so kind to kudo me.  I'd love to do the same but I don't see the "box by their post" mentioned.  Is there something I'm missing, or is it possibly a browser issue?  I am signed in.

Thanks, and kudos to you!

Thanks for everyone's help and patience.  I sent kudos all around.  I really appreciate this forum.  Now I'm off to the software issues for some answers on the Media Manager.
