two questions

Is there a way to delete more than one message at a time? All of my previous phones and smartphones have had an auto-complete option where you only had to type in a few letters and word options came up. Am I missing where to find this on my curve? The auto-text option doesn't do that...just corrects common misspellings. Thabks!!!!

Re: two questions

on my pearl i have to hold down the alt key (which is the key with the up arrow) and scroll down or up.  It selects more than one message and then you can delete it.

hope that helps.

i'm going to assume the alt key is different on every blackberry.  i had to fool around for a bit until I figured out which key it was.

Re: two questions

Hi and welcome to the forums! :smileyhappy:

A couple of places for you to visit: Blackberry 101 Tips & Tricks

  1. Hold the shift key and scroll up/down to select more than one message, menu-delete
  2. Auto Text vs Auto Complete

I believe Suretype is available on the Pearl model BB's.  You can always set up autotext entries to replicate the autocomplete feature.  There may also be a 3rd Party app available:  Check at  BB App World Forums

Let us know how it goes.

Happy to have you here! :smileyvery-happy:
