    By default, the BlackBerry Java Plug-In for Eclipse will display one of the following warnings when a BlackBerry API that requires signing is used:

     

    • Signing Required: RIM Blackberry Apps API (0x52424200): Import uses protected Class...
    • Signing Required: RIM Crypto API - RIM (0x52435200): Import uses protected Class..
    • Signing Required: RIM Runtime API (0x52525400): Import uses protected Class...

    To turn off these warnings, complete the following steps:

     

    1. Select the Window menu.
    2. Select Preferences.
    3. Expand BlackBerry Java Plug-in.
    4. Click Warnings.
    5. Select the check boxes for the signature keys you have installed.
    6. Click OK.
