Did you post it for sale in the vendor portal? The approval email I received specifically stated not to modify anything on the vendor portal until further notice.
You think it's alright to do so? Nice app, btw. It'll definitely come in handy
Finally, my app also got approved...! (^0^ )/
App name: My Grocery book

Did you get approved today? I mean: they don't really work on Sundays, do they?
They'd better be working on Sundays... we are! :-)
Seriously though, when companies make big bets like RIM is with the PlayBook, many go into "crunch time" which means an awful lot of overtime, definitely including Sundays. Also I hear RIM might be the sort of old-school company that still expects long hours from people even when they're not in panic mode. Or maybe, if they're not too "agile", they're always in panic mode.

@tajddin Thanks for your kind comment
I think I also received a same email from BB. Here's a copy:
"Congratulations!! Research In Motion is pleased to inform you that your product My Grocery Book for BlackBerry PlayBook is now approved. Currently your application is in an ‘Approved’ state within the vendor portal, please leave in this state until further notice. Details to follow shortly on next steps, we look forward to working with you on our exciting BlackBerry PlayBook launch."
And I just checked my verdor portal and a status has changed to 'Up for Sale'.

It shouldn't have changed state unless you clicked "Post for sale".
Or, Is this automatically happening to a select number of developers?

Congratz to everyone who has been approved this weeked! It's nice to see some more get approved after a rather slow week.
On a side note, now that my app has been approved, is it possible to change it from being free to paid? When I log into the vendor portal, I know the option is there if I go to edit, but would that affect the approval status of my app in any way? I have already filled out the form for the free playbook, so it shouldn't really affect any of that right?

It was very simple and straightforward to change it from free to paid. I thought it would've opened a request ticket, because when I went to change my screenshots it opened up a new ticket. For changing from free to paid, it was as simple as me changing it, setting a price and clicking save.

I also had my app approved this weekend. For those curious:
App submitted: Jan 7
"You've completed first step email": Jan 11
App approved: Feb 5
No email yet about the playbook offer, but I'm definitely not as worried as I was before! Thanks everyone here for your updates and letting me know I wasn't alone in waiting so long for approval.
