Application id and AppWorld

Hi, I have an application for the Playbook and now I created a version for BB 10 phone. Should the application ids for both be different? can they be the same? is there any advantage if they are the same (ie: later I can exchange data between the two)? My other question is regarding App World. Should I create a new product or add it as a version of my current Playbook product? Thanks!

Re: Application id and AppWorld

That can be the same and you have the option to upload a different BAR file for BB10 devices vs. PlayBook devices. If they are the same, a person who bought the PlayBook version will then be able to download the BB10 version for free. App World purchases are for the app, regardless of the device. So if you want the consumer to have to buy one for each device, then make it a unique product with a unique ID.
