BB10: styling a qnx dialog

I'm thinking about replacing my home-cooked dialogs with proper BlackBerry dialogs (qnx.fuse.ui.dialog.AlertDialog), but it seems they are not affected by the global theme setting (ThemeGlobals.BLACK)

Can anyone help me get started with styling the various dialog elements?

(I've tried injecting CSS, but since I'm just guessing at what the elements and their properties are, I'm not even sure if I'm doing something wrong with the css injection, or if the dialog doesn't support css (it doesn't inherit from UIComponent, but it does have a cssID property ...), or if it's just a matter of finding out the right selectors ...

This is basically what I tried (with a few variations on the css, trying to get at the LabelButtons or heading, but nothing that produced any effect ...

ThemeGlobals.currentTheme = ThemeGlobals.BLACK;
var css : String = "Dialog {text-color:#ff0000; }";
ThemeGlobals.injectCSS(css);
