When I tried downloading using Firefox it wouldn't work...  so I tried Chrome, though it took a little fidgetting to get it to work.

What exactly did you do?

Re: BlackBerry PlayBook Simulator now works with 64 bit Windows

OK, I did it the hard way:

  1. Install Linux (in VMWare Player)
  2. Download the Linux installer (this download works)
  3. Run the binary
  4. Copy the .iso file back to your Windows workstation
That's it.
Which leads to the question: why doesn't RIM just offer the .iso file for download? I have no clue what the Java-wrapped installer is for...

Re: BlackBerry PlayBook Simulator now works with 64 bit Windows

For the record, biggerCC, I middle clicked the download link which opened the link in a new window and for some reason it worked. Smiley Happy

However, it looks as though you won't need my hack as it is now fixed.
