Blackberry's cut on app purchases

Does anyone know Blackberry's take on app purchases...as in how much percentage Blackberry takes for apps sold in the App Store. This info would be helpful when strategizing an app price...but I haven't been able to find any info about this.

Re: Blackberry's cut on app purchases

Hey Ektorp,

The current cut is set to 70/30 last time i checked. It used to be 80/20 but was changed due to rising costs for RIM.

@Kai: If it was 70 to RIM there would be no developers Smiley Happy

70 - Developers

30 - RIM

Ahaha, well, all the software I've made in the past has been free, so I'm clueless when it comes to selling it. Smiley Tongue
