Blank Splash Screen (using Flex 4.5.1, AIR 2.6, BB Tablet SDK 1.0.1)

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me.

I've recently upgraded to Flash Builder 4.5 from Flash Builder "Burrito" and in bringing my App over, it no longer worked. I had several compile-time errors and a few run-time errors. All have since been resolved by other members' posts on these forums (Thanks!). But, I am currently left with a blank splash screen. I am able to change the colour from the default white background. But, the image I am using (a jpeg) is no longer showing up as it once was in my "Burrito" version.

I know there have been other posts on this subject, but as far as I can tell the other configurations were not the latest Flex build, nor the latest AIR build. Some people have also mentioned that a blank/hanging screen is a symptom of a run-time error. But, I'll be honest, I'm not that proficient in the Flash Builder environment or in coding Flex Apps. If this, in fact, is the problem then how do I find out if there is a run-time error (ie, it currently silently fails and there is no output file that registers the run-time errors)? Otherwise, if it's not a run-time error, then what else could be the issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
