Command line with Blackberry 10 Simulator Package-Author-Id failure 820

So, quick run down on environment.

I use FlashDevelop. I have published an app before and have a second I've been working with in development on sim and playbook.

Rebuilt my system, all the certs are cleared so I'm redoing everything but this time I'm writing it down.

Few weirdness items -- haven't updated my system but now the qnx.ui classes are qnx.fuse.ui etc.

Some oddness with swc's being reassigned to ane and had to drop qnx-screen.swc and qnx-air.swc and replace with qnxmedia.swc, qnxui.swc, QNXDevice.ane, and blackberry.swc to reenable the compilation of my old project.

Quick question on the simulator -- seems like I'm getting an error on Author-id, but as I understand it an author id isn't required for testing on the simulator. Had to change the xmlns to 2.6 since the alpha BB10 environment is 2.6 (the sample uses 3.1).

App xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="no"?>
<application xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/2.6">
<id>CBViewr</id>
<filename>xxxxx</filename>
<name>xxxxxx</name>
<versionNumber>1.0.0</versionNumber>
<copyright>xxxxxx</copyright>
<initialWindow>
<content>xxxxxx.swf</content>
</initialWindow>
<extensions>
<extensionID>qnx.fuse.ui.skins.QNXSkins</extensionID>
</extensions>
</application>

Bar-desciption.xml file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
<qnx>
<initialWindow>
<systemChrome>none</systemChrome>
<transparent>false</transparent>
</initialWindow>

<author></author>

<authorId></authorId>

<icon>

<image>splashscreen.png</image>
</icon>

<!-- <buildId>1</buildId> -->

</qnx>

Error's on push to sim:

result::failure 820 required fields missing from manifest (Package-Author-Id)

Exit Code: 2

I know it should be pretty simple (I've registered for bar sigining and am waiting on the certificates) but I figured if this is common then it might help if there's a simple value to enter without certificate generation.

Please educate me -- thanks

Re: Command line with Blackberry 10 Simulator Package-Author-Id failure 820

Answered my own question. The app id is any value 27 chrs long for the simulator (000000000000000000000000000 for example -- thanks to Richard Lord). The simulator will ignore this value for testing.
