Custom size for actionbar

Hi,

I want to set custom size to actionbar using width property and setActualSize function, but it doesnt work, it seems to be resized according to the orientation of the phone, do you know how to change this behavior and allow to resize it?

Best regards,

Javier

Re: Custom size for actionbar

Dont think you will be able to. The height does change when in landscape and the labels fall off. This will occur as well in the QWERTY version of the OS (in both orientations).

Curious. Why do you need to change the size (assume height)?

Re: Custom size for actionbar

Thanks for the answer,

Really i just want to change the width of it. The app that im developing needs to have some 'views' only in portrait mode and 1 of them in landscape.

A partial solution that i have found is to lock the app in portrait and rotate the needed view to show it as 'landscape', the actionbar is rotated within that 'view', so in this solution i need to change the width of actionbar.

Re: Custom size for actionbar

Try just calling the "width" attribute. That should work.
There is some special things going on with setActionalSize(...)

Re: Custom size for actionbar

I was changing the width in a parent class, so width works. Thanks
