I have an app all ready to go and submit but I have one question. Is the app required to be signed before the deadline of March 1st? Can the key signing be done after the 1st as long as the app is already submitted...or is no app going to be approved before it is signed?
i just registered for my keys but im not sure how long it will take to get back to me. I am thinking about submitting my app right now and deal with the key signing later. Does anyone know is this is a good idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated as time is now of the essence.

I'm pretty sure that apps are no longer being accepted if they're not signed.
I got my signing keys within 24 hours. It shouldn't take too long.

If you don't get them quickly, remember to check your spam folder: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Tablet-OS-S

As said before, unsigned submissions will not be approved. Since this potentially could ruin your chance on a free PlayBook, I would say to order them (they get delivered in 1 to 2 days) and sign your app.

i could swear i recently read something official about submitting unsigned applications for approval. if i'm not mistaken, applications can be submitted and approved unsigned but must be signed in order to be distributed thru blackberry app world.
now, where did i read that?
