Dropdown list and picker layout

Hi Guys,

In my application I have a data entry form which is as below

  1. TextInputBox
  2. TextInputBox
  3. DropDownList
  4. Picker
  5. TextInputBox

So, problem I am having is that DropDownList's List is overlapped by control 4 & 5 and also Picker's lower part is overlapped by control # 5.

So, is there anyway to specify the z-order of controls?

(I haven't been able to use 'z' property effectively)

Re: Dropdown list and picker layout

to change the "z-order" on an object, you can use the setChildIndex() method to change its order in the parent object. here is more detail on that:

good luck!

Re: Dropdown list and picker layout

I add an event to listen when the drop down gains focus and then I call to have it push to the front.  Something I wish they would just do native to the control.  This is also true for some other controls.

Re: Dropdown list and picker layout

I have one base container(vertical flow)  and 5 sub containers(each one having horizontal flow), in this  2  containers having dorpdown lists.  My code is like this

If I changing the childIndex of the uiContainer only the order  of the alignment is changing. Dropdowns are still overlapping.

please help me I am waiting for your reply....
