Embedded fonts in controls?

It appears that the fonts used are not embeded for controls (e.g. LabelButton).  When rotating a button, the label no longer is shown, indicating that they are not embeded.

What is the best way to embed the system font?

What is the system font and does the OS already have the TTF that we can just include so we do not have to re-embed a dupicate font (keeping the application file size down to a minimum)?

Re: Embedded fonts in controls?

I am not sure about the system fonts, in hope RIM chimes in on that.

Embedding fonts is as easy as embedding any other asset or meta. You can find a pretty good example here: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=fonts_04.html
