Error - Packaging failed:255?

I'm trying to set up the simulator to debug. It seems like I followed all of the directions, but when I try to debug my app onto the simulator, I get the following error:

Packaging failed:255
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder Burrito\sdks\blackberry-tablet-sdk-0.9.4\bin\blackberry-airpackager.bat" was unexpected at this time.

Any thoughts?

What was the full command that you used?

Re: Error - Packaging failed:255?

No command line was used. I just attempted to use flashbuilder's built in debug/run commands.

See this page for what I did:

Re: Error - Packaging failed:255?

make sure you have the java jre installed and all your required paths are set. here is a thread that can help you with that:

good luck!

I met the same problem, and JRE was already installed.

Re: Error - Packaging failed:255?

JAVA_HOME defined?

Can you run the command at the command line to see it gives any more information?

Can you run the package command with just -help to see if the item is reachable?

I run "java -version" from the command line and this is what I see. Does it appear that I have everything installed correctly?

java version "1.6.0_20"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_20-b02)

Java Hotspot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 16.3=b01, mixed mode))

Re: Error - Packaging failed:255?

I tried running the command line (which I try to avoid) and I get an error but it's most probably due to the fact that I entered the command line incorrectly - which is why I try to avoid command lines.

Here is the sample command line:

blackberry-airpackager -package AIRHelloWorld -installApp -launchApp test-app.xml test.swf any_other_project_files -device <MyIPAddress> -password <MyPasswordHere>

This is the error I receive:
'blackberry-airpackager' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

Re: Error - Packaging failed:255?

because you didn't set 'blackberry-airpackager' to the system path

Re: Error - Packaging failed:255?

I was following the direction on the following page to a "T" and the directions didn't state to include the system path.

What is the proper system path?
