I've managed to deploy a HelloWorld application to the Playbook simulator (yay!),the FB debug launcher didn't work, but running from cmd line worked great.
BUT, when I try and switch my existing Android app to the new Blackberry SDK, I get a slew of errors, such as:
Unable to resolve resource bundle "collections" for locale "en_US".
Unable to resolve resource bundle "logging" for locale "en_US".
Unable to resolve resource bundle "messaging" for locale "en_US".
Also, it is complaining about my Android specific permissions tags (ie INTERNET, SCREEN_LOCK, EXTERNAL_STORAGE etc). What is the plan in terms of permissions?

You may need to remove reference to the Flex framework classes to resolve the locale issue.
The permission model for the BlackBerry Tablet OS is still a work in progress. More information will be made available about it in the coming weeks.

There are none, this is a 100% pure actionscript project...? This sucks, as it's stopping me from compiling.
While the permissions are being figured out, will all apps just be given full permission as default? Or does it not even matter since we're in the simulator?
It would be nice if you could update the packager to just ignore my Android manifest additions, that way I don't need to be constantly be editing my app.xml file.

SDK does not contain Adobe classes only open source flex sdk.
You can try to copy adobe flxe sdk 4.1 over (skipping on overwrites). Have not tried it myself.

The simulator grants applications full permissions by default.

I had the same issue when creating a new project (i actually want to use Flex) and could actually fix it.
I tried liliana_v's solution but it didn't change anything.
To remove these errors, you have to go in your project properties (Right click on your project > Properties > Flex Compiler)
Then you add (modify the path to correspond to your install:
-library-path+="C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder Burrito\sdks\blackberry-tablet-sdk-0.9.0\framework
It fixed the errors i had with resource bundles. If it fixed your issue as well, you can mark this thread as Solved and grant me my first star ! ahah

Saw that you didn't get a response, but I gave it a whirl and it worked for me.
Another option is to add it to your Flex Build Path:
Right click project -> Properties -> Flex Build Path -> Library Path tab -> Add SWC folder -> C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4\sdks\blackberry-tablet-sdk-0.9.0\frameworks\loca
This way, FB4 will add it to the compiler arguments for you.
