Is the multitouch of 5 fingers max going to be the final specification or is it subject to change before the final release?
I am brainstorming ideas for my app.. and my current idea would work the best with 10 fingers.

If you actually draw yourself a 153.6mm by 90mm rectangle on paper, I think you'll notice that while one can fit 10 fingers into that space all at the same time, there's almost nothing useful you could do with them once they're there.
I can't say whether I think 4 touch points is adequate, too few, or more than enough, but I'm pretty sure for a device this small, 10 is not going to be very effective. I'd be happy to be corrected by someone more imaginative than I am on that point...
(By the way, does anyone know whether these limits are hardcoded, or what? I just read about some multitouch monitor -- forgot whose -- that was specified as "20 touch points" and the person writing about it said they were able to get 60 fingers going simultaneously. Any chance the 4-point limit can be exceeded under certain conditions?)
