Flash Builder 4.5 and Tablet OS SDK Install Help!

Hi There,

First I'll note that I did make an honest effort to find a solution in the forum and I have been trying to get this to work for hours.

For some reason, the Tablet OS SDK is not showing up in FlashBuilder 4.5 (final).  I did the following steps:

  1. Installed Flash Builder 4.5 (final)
  2. Installed Tablet OS SDK 1.0.2, selecting YES to integrate with Flash Builder.
  3. Opened Flash Builder as administrator
  4. File - New - Actionscrip Mobile Project.  Select Flex 4.5, Blackberry OS, Finish.

After all of that, Flashbuilder cannot find qnx components (for example, when typing import, the list that pops up does not include qnx).

I have many tablet OS applications I need to bring into Flash Builder 4.5.  I have upgraded from 4.01.  Please help!

Thanks,

~Nick.

Re: Flash Builder 4.5 and Tablet OS SDK Install Help!

Include qnx_screen.swc from the tablet os sdk in the project' s build path.

This should solve it.

[ Edited ]

Worked great, but it does not seem to include qnx.display.  Any ideas?

EDIT

Got it.  I ended up importing all of the swc's in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.5\sdks\blackberry-tablet-sdk-1.0.2\frameworks\libs subfolders (3 in total).

I have more correctly solution for the problem You have:

First You do need to go at FlashBuilder to Window -> Preferences and finde following:

Then, You need to navigate to the project You have, in my case I name it Test, and right-click on it to navigate to the Preferences, there You may finde following:

These steps must help You!

This is Adobe requirement believe it or not, they don't want to ship our plugins with FB if this option (to include platform libraries) is checked by default.
