if this is accurate, then it's not too bad. means they should be done in five days.

... I mean, it's now five days after the supposed "ship date" and they're still only half way through the orders....

Since none of us has any real idea how many tablets in total have to ship, nor how many have shipped so far, there's no reason to assume that is accurate.  If it is, it's merely a lucky guess.

I don't believe there's any more effective way to cope with this than simply to monitor the latest order date for which they've shipped tablets.  According to the "bad calculator" site (see earlier link if you missed it) that means they're up to the first couple of days of March.

Re: Free BlackBerry PlayBook Ship Date

RIM, this is pathetic. Still no confirmation five days after the supposed ship date. We're still sitting here in the dark unable to properly test/develop our applications.

Re: Free BlackBerry PlayBook Ship Date

For anyone who received a tracking link to DHL's website, it looks like this may have been done in error.

The link in my e-mail was for DHL but the tracking number I was given wasn't a valid DHL tracking number. When I tried the same number on FedEx's website it showed the tracking history of my package.

So for anyone else in the same boat, try FedEx if your DHL tracking isn't working.

Re: Free BlackBerry PlayBook Ship Date

GoldenJoe, many people have already received their Playbooks, you make it sound like RIM has done nothing yet.
