just a quick update, fedex returned my playbook yesterday ( or today, depends where in the world u are) and touchstone/tmgideas dispatched a replacement right away.

How long did it take FedEx to contact you after you contacted tmg? It's been two weeks for me now and i haven't heard back from either tmg or FedEx.

i received an email from tmg that fedex would pickup the next day.
And about lunch time the following day i received a phone call from fedex stating that there would be a driver there by 5pm.
Sure enough at 4pm, driver was ready and waiting.
It was a very painless experience.

I sent an email about 2 weeks ago to BlackberryPlaybookReturns@tmgideas.com about my broken playbook and have had no response. I have a battery that doesn't hold a charge and I can't even update it which might fix the problem because it's too flat.
Is there a contact for someone at RIM?

Try mailing them again. I did and got a quick response that said fedex would contact me. Thats been 2 weeks again now and nothing happend so all in all i'm waiting for almost 2 months for an exchange now
