My Device: Dev Alpha C and PlayBook

Re: Free playbook availability in Europe

I hope RIM will ship all the devices at the same time. Today I heard some rumours that the PlayBook will launch in The Netherlands late June. I hope that I don't need to wait till the end of June.

Re: Free playbook availability in Europe

The only good part of the PlayBook lauching in Europe later is, that it will then be fully equipped with email, calendar, contacts and so.

Kind of really feels half-baked at the moment...

All PlayBooks going to be shipped at the same time, for ALL countries.

It has been stated multiple times that RIM intends to ship all dev devices at the same time, regardless of location. However, RIM also stated in the terms and conditions that you will receive your device once it is commercially available.

Conflicting, yes, but i think we can all hope that they are taking the option of shipping all of them together as it is what they have been saying most recently.

Mike Kirkup said that the devices will not wait for the commercial release, they will just be shipped.
