Re: Gesture/touch support on the PB simulator under OS X?

@helliott, I don't think your being on a Mac would affect JRab's answer.  There is no simulator support for multitouch yet, and we've heard nothing specific about anything related to multitouch other than that the real PlayBook itself has four touchpoints and works wonderfully.

We may well have to wait to get our hands on actual devices to be able to test any multitouch stuff, except for those of us who have real multitouch monitors on our development boxes and who can test our apps without any of the PB-specific stuff getting in the way.  (That's probably very very few of us.)  There was someone who bought a Galaxy Tab and was using it to test AIR apps, presumably with the multitouch support, but that's the best I've heard so far.

Re: Gesture/touch support on the PB simulator under OS X?

For me, the simulator returns FALSE for Multitouch.supportsGestureEvents. Others have reported this returning true on the simulator. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal? I'm using 0.9.4 on Windows 7, VMWare.
