How do I use the black skin for specific controls?

[ Edited ]

I am trying to use the black skin for Segmented Control. There seems to be no skin or colorshade property.

How would I do that?

Re: How do I use the black skin for specific controls?

hey,

there two methods available to set the skin of a segemented control object. The first is a setBackgroundSkin() and the second is a setButtonSkin() method. Try the following code and see if the skinning works:

import qnx.ui.skins.buttons;

(...)

var myControl:SegmentedControl = new SegmentedControl();

(...)

myControl.setBackgroundSkin(SegmentedControlSkinBlack);
myControl.setButtonSkin(RoundedButtonSkinBlack);

Make sure to import the button skin package and also replace "myControl" with your segmented control object. Hope that helps. good luck!
