Incorrect FDT directory

[ Edited ]

I'm trying out FDT (free version). When I go to install the BB10 AIR 3.0 SDK it doesn't accept the directory where FDT is installed.

Re: Incorrect FDT directory

Hi

The newest FDT version has dropped the version number from its name, changing the directory structure. For that reason, the installer can't *find* it anymore.

This problem is already fixed internally and, for the next release, the installer will integrate properly with FDT.

If you can't wait, you can try the following:

  1. Install BB10 SDK without FDT integration
  2. After the installation is completed:
    1. Run FDT and choose Help -> Install New Software
    2. Click the Add button and then Local button.
    3. Point to the folder /Applications/Research in Motion/blackberry-tablet-sdk-3.0.0/update_site_for_AirCommon, then click OK
    4. When displayed, select BlackBerry OS Support
    5. Proceed with the installation, accepting license, etc..
    6. Restart FDT when asked.

Now you will have BlackBerry support on FDT.

I hope it helps!
