Is signing server down

Is RIM signing server down?

I am trying to sign the air app using command line but getting following error

barsigner error: Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL http://www.rim.net/Websigner/servlet/RDK-Waterloo

In one of the posts I read it is because of signing server being down, is it true, as I am getting the same error since last 3-4 days?

Re: Is signing server down

I was signing OK yesterday. Lately, RIM announces if the signing server is down.

Re: Is signing server down

But I am getting the same error even after repeated attempts, is it true that above error message is because of server down?

Re: Is signing server down

Hello Sangram,

The signing servers for both RDK and PBDT have been up and running during this time. It is possible that there is a communication issue within your development environment that can be addressed by reigstering new signature keys which are available from https://www.BlackBerry.com/SignedKeys

Within Adobe Flash Builder, you can register the new signature keys via the UI options of:

Window->Preferences->Flash Builder->Target Platforms->BlackBerry Tablet OS->Signing

Re: Is signing server down

I am experiencing the same error as the OP. Connection should be fine, and keys registered OK.

Re: Is signing server down

Hi James,

It is simply impossible to sign the old application with the new signing keys, please correct me if I am wrong.

I would have to use the same signing keys for updating the previously signed application. Are you sure the servers are up and running, or is there any other reason for this error?

Re: Is signing server down

Can anyone from Blackberry check on this, as I think many developer are facing the same issue.

Re: Is signing server down

Hi. Any idea if there is any progress on this?

Tried both the Command Line as well as the graphical aid tool with no success.
