Lock app in portrait mode?

Does anyone know what settings I have to adjust in my app to lock the app in portrait mode rather than landscape default?  I have a game that's designed for portait mode, and I can't figure out how to take advantage of that mode.

Any help anyone can suggest would be highly appreciated!!

Re: Lock app in portrait mode?

In your app.xml file, use "<autoOrients>false</autoOrients>" and "<aspectRatio>portrait</aspectRatio>". See http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/articles/screen_orientation_apis.html

Re: Lock app in portrait mode?

hey,

to lock your application in portrait mode -- add the following lines (or modify existing) in your -app.xml file within the <initialWindow> tags:

	<autoOrients>false</autoOrients>
	<aspectRatio>portrait</aspectRatio>

good luck!
